Fullblood & Purebreed Boers from Australia, Part 2
On 25/04/09, our second batch of boers from Australia have arrived in our farm. This batch consists of both certified fullblood bucks and does as well as purebreed does. There are 6 heads of fullblood boer bucks with certificate which includes the son of Shogun - Senior Champion Boer Buck at Royal Canberra show, and 3 heads of fullblood boer bucks without certificate. It really took me a lot of time and efforts to unload the goats into the barn and the crates on the floor without damage it.

Purebreed Boers from Australia, Part 1

On 14/04/09, the first batch of our purebreed boers from Australia have arrived at KLIA Cargo. This batch consists of 45 heads of purebreed boers which is originated from New South Wales, Australia. These animals adapted to our local environment quite well and like to eat our oil palm fronds very much. It didn't take them a long time to get familiar with our local concentrate feed (goat pellet, soy hull pellet, and etc). However, the Australian boer goats do not like the PKC like our local breed boers do. Give it time by slowly introduce our local available feeds to the Australian goats, I think they will like it eventually, maybe.

South African Traditional Boer Bucks and Kalahari Red Bucks
The photos below show some of our Full South African Traditional Boer and Kalahari Red bucks. These bucks are currently still young at the age of about 1 year old and they are selected to be our future replacement breeding stocks for our foundation herd sires.
5) X069; D.O.B: 15/11/08
This South African buckling carries a high quality genetic bloodlines. He is sired by a South African boer buck which was the 1st Runner up in World Champion. His grandfather and great grandfather were both South African Champion Bucks. The first photo was taken on 30/04/09 upon arrival at our farm, and the second photo was taken on 01/07/09. As you can see in these photos, he has got both length and muscle. He is also sexually aggresive at this age. His name is currently still pending and is tagged with number C015.
2) X018; D.O.B: 26/04/08

I have no information on his pedigree aparts from his parents are both full South African traditional boers. However, as you can see from these two photos taken on 30/04/09 & 28/06/09 respectively, he is such a structurely correct boer buckling and is also a sexually very aggresive buck. His name is also pending now and he is tagged with number X018.

This is my favorite Kalahari Red buck as he is such a tame animal and is not afraid of humans. He is sired by a traditional boer and his dam is a full South African Kalahari Red. He has got Dr. Pepper bloodline on top in his pedigree as his grandfather is the son of Dr. Pepper, a well known World Champion Buck 2002-04. He is also a structurely correct and sexually aggresive buckling. Currently, he is tagged with the number X010.
4) 039; D.O.B: 09/06/08

4) 039; D.O.B: 09/06/08
This young Kalahari Red buck has the bloodline of Dr. Pepper on top of his pedigree as well. His body is dark red in color with black in his head and neck. The reason i purchased this buckling is to hope that i can produce fullblood black boers by using his color to linebreeds with my dark red kalahari red does. Currently, he is not ready for breeding yet. I'll have to boost him up for his body structure before he can becomes my foundation stud buck. He is tagged with number 039.
5) X069; D.O.B: 15/11/08
This young traditional boer buck is growing fast. There is not much information on his pedigree but he is confirmed a full South African boer buck. As shown in the photos which were taken 28/06/09, he has got both the length and muscle built on his body. I'll keeping him as the replacement stock and breed him to my Australian boers for the next generation. He is tagged with number X069.
